Full time, live out Housekeeper/Laundry Assistant.

A live-out Housekeeper is required to start as soon as possible.
A young, creative family who have two children aged 10 and 8, are looking for a calm, intelligent, experienced Housekeeper who would be confident carrying out basic housekeeping duties to a high standard in five bedroom town house.
We are looking for someone who has had a minimum of 2-years’ housekeeping experience, has a flexible attitude and works well in a team environment.
Salary: £24,000 - £27,000 per annum, dependent on experience. Excellent working conditions in a lovely household.
Hours: 32 hours per week, Monday-Thursday, 9:00am–5:00pm.
Days off: Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Housekeeping Duties:
The role will include all household duties including: vacuuming, dusting, mopping, surface cleaning, kitchen and bathroom details, laundry, ironing, wardrobe management, shopping, food preparation, simple family cooking and making sure all assigned areas of the home are clean, neat and tidy to the required standard.
Household Duties:
The role will include household administrative duties such as purchasing presents, returning clothing to department stores, matching receipts to statements, booking basic maintenance call outs such as carpet cleaning, window cleaning as well as ad hoc alarm and TV repairs. In addition the family has a house dog and cat that will need to be cared for throughout the weekdays.
Laundry Duties:
The role will be heavily focused on laundry and wardrobe management, including the laundry of delicate fabrics and ironing. The ideal candidate must have knowledge of fabrics and linens and wardrobe management.
General Requirement:
A friendly, hard-working, trustworthy and honest person required who has common sense and takes initiative. Needs to have a flexible attitude, and be good with young children. Good housekeeping experience. A driver would be an advantage but not essential. Someone who is discreet, unobtrusive and able to respect the family's privacy.
Excellent written and spoken English is required. Non-smoking work environment. experience working as a Housekeeper in a domestic household essential. Candidates must have checkable and relevant references.
