A discreet, hardworking, proactive and adaptable individual is required for a formal household in North London. This is a large property and is maintained to a high standard at all times; so your main responsibilities will be to work as part of a small team looking after the daily upkeep and presentation of the property.
The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role and be able to work independently. A proactive individual with extremely high standards is required. Although the main tasks will primarily be based within the household, the successful candidate will be happy to go above and beyond in order to look after the family, take huge pride in their work and be happy taking responsibility and making sure the highest cleanliness standards are achieved. The housekeeper will need to have good communication skills in Russian and be able to start at short notice.
Hours: shift pattern to 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
To be available to the owners at all reasonable times when in residence.
To maintain the household to the owners’ satisfaction.
To help the Head Housekeeper and House Manager with any other reasonable requests or duties.
To assist other staff when required
To supervise outside trades people when required.
Principal tasks
Cleaning the house to a high standard (to include, dusting, moping, hovering and tidying)
Laundry, ironing and care of fine fabrics.
Shopping errands if required
Occasional unpacking and packing
Candidates must be / have:
Russian speaking
experience with the care of fine art, furniture and antiques.
Knowledge of specialist cleaning and care of all delicate fabrics.
Ability to hand wash delicate items like silk and cashmere.
experience in a similar role and of cleaning large houses or hotels is required.
Have proof of right to work in the UK
Up to date Enhanced CRB
Have a UK bank account in your own name
Be able to converse and write in English
Have a fixed place of residence and live within a reasonable travelling distance of the house.
A positive 'can-do' attitude and a genuine willingness to work for the family long term.
Naturally organized, trustworthy, a team player and active.
Well-presented, energetic, friendly and professional.
