Hi, we are looking for a full time live out after school nanny to look after our two children LéOnie (9 y) and Adrian (5 y), ideally Monday to Thursday inclusive but there is flexibility on the Friday.
The hours would be from 3pm-6.30pm daily as well as possible extra babysitting to be agreed separately.
Key activity is centred on picking up the two kids from their respective schools (both very close to Finchley Road tube) back to our home (10-15min walking distance) during term time.
Adrian is a pick up at 3.10pm and LéOnie at 3.30pm every day except when they have after school clubs in which case times may vary slightly
Usual pickup for both kids only takes 30minutes including walk back to our home.
Typical duties would include:
1) Having a lot of fun with our kids! We play plenty of board games, love the park and playgrounds and dancing to music.
2) Helping/supervising the kids’ homework. For Adrian, this mainly consists of supporting his new reading skills while LéOnie is very independent and just need basic supervision.
3) Preparation of their evening meal - no advanced cooking skills needed, just a willingness to try different healthy options but we can certainly work on a weekly planner if easier.
4) Arranging play dates (super easy as quite a few local friends)
5) Light housework by keeping kids room and kitchen tidy only.
We need you to be fun-loving, reliable, a non-smoker, with good references ideally living within 30min of our home.
We very much believe in being positive, fun yet maintaining a good level of discipline. You are the boss, not the children :)
We are friendly, easy going family and the kids are genuinely a lot of fun!
We speak both French and English at home so whilst good English is necessary, French would certainly be advantageous.
Permanent £10-12/h depending on experience.
