Nanny Advert: Muswell Hill, N10, North London
We are looking for a fun, experienced and energetic nanny/housekeeper to look after our 3 children, aged 5 years, 2 years and 3 months, from the 1st of December 2022. This will be on a near full-time basis, living out, for 4.5 days a week (approximately 50 hours). Monday-Thursday 7.30-6pm, Friday 7.30-1pm.
Mum will be on maternity leave for the first 4-5 months of the post and hours/duties are likely to be more flexible during this period.
The Nanny/Housekeeper should meet the following criteria:
-previous experience as a sole charge nanny
-have at least 3 excellent references and have been with the same family for at least 2 years
-have an up to date CRB check and 1st aid certificate (although this could be arranged)
-be a non-smoker
-be fluent in English
-ideally live locally and have flexibility with working hours
-be energetic and trustworthy, tidy and organized individual essential
- ability to teach/engage children without television
Duties will include:
- Caring for all three children alongside their mother during maternity leave and thereafter sole charge.
-5 year old is at school full time (7.30-4pm) – parents to arrange pick up and drop off.
-2 year old is at nursery for 5 mornings per week (9-1pm) – nanny to drop off and collect (walking distance)
-3 month old shared care with mother then after maternity leave sole care
- all day care required in the holidays
- Taking 2 younger children to playgroups and playdates in the afternoons
-ideally have a driving licence, on occasion may be required to collect 5 year old from school (own car or our car)
- Light housework including laundry, ironing, hoovering, keeping house tidy (kitchen, children rooms and play areas), loading/unloading dishwasher (not deep cleaning)
- Help preparing children meals, feeding, clearing kitchen after meals.
- On occasion may be asked to work flexibly to help with bathing children and putting to bed
- 28 days of holiday including bank holidays
- Non-smoker
Salary negotiable depending on experience and references.
