Role: Housekeeper/Cook
Location: Notting Hill
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 6pm (50 hours per week)
Salary: £550 – 600 npw / £40,000 per annum gross.
Start Date: as soon as possible
We are seeking a full-time Housekeeper / Cook to join a small team of staff, within a household in Notting Hill.
You will be hardworking and efficient, with an unparalleled attention to detail. The Housekeeper/Cook will be expected to work 10 hours per day Monday – Friday, 8am – 6pm.
The household consists of two adults and one baby boy. They currently employ a full-time nanny but a Housekeeper/Cook who is child friendly is advantageous.
You will be a confident and passionate cook and happy to prepare nutritious daily meals for the family.
A certain degree of travel is required for the role so you must have an in date valid passport and be flexible to accompany the family on trips.

The duties for the role will include;

Maintaining the household interiors to the highest level of cleanliness.
Keeping all public and private areas of the household immaculately clean.
Managing the family’s laundry and ironing.
Knowledge of handling luxury clothing
Packing and unpacking
Maintaining and organization wardrobes
Polishing silverware and antiques
Running errands
Table service: trained in laying a table as well as serving at a table.
Grocery shopping
Ensuring household items and products remain stocked.
Menu planning
Preparing and cooking meals for the family.

To be considered for this role you must;

Have 5 + years’ previous experience working within a private household.
Be eligible to work in the UK
Have excellent contactable references
