Front Office Supervisor Job in London

Do you want to be part of an amazing project? Over the next month, The Trafalgar Hotel will be transformed into a 5* Luxury Lifestyle Boutique Hotel, with two destination food and drink outlets.
We are looking for a Front Office Supervisor to join our expanding Front of House team, who will be the main point of call for our guests and assist them with anything they might need.
Your key areas of responsibility will include:
• Being the main point of contact for all in-house and external guest queries and requests during the shift
• Liaising with all departments and ensure swift and efficient communication across the hotel
• Demonstrating a thorough understanding of all facilities and services provided and identifying opportunities for up-selling and promoting when appropriate;
• Ensuring team members work together, know the set standards and communicate properly to provide a continuously high standard of service to our guests
• Reporting and following up on any comments, VIP arrivals or departures as they occur throughout the shift
• Ensuring all relevant feedback from guests is dealt with in an efficient manner by the Reception Team and yourself and informed to the Reception Manager
• Replacing the Reception Manager when necessary
The ideal candidate is an individual who cares about providing excellent service to our guests and who can use their intuition and creativity to deliver a wondrous experience for everyone. You will be able to maintain a positive and calm outlook regardless of what challenges the shift might bring, and able to make decisions without supervision. As a minimum we would expect you to have excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work different shift patterns, and a desire to provide exceptional customer service. experience within a similar environment is preferable, however we recruit for attitude rather than experience and will give you the tools to ensure you will be successful in your role.
