Front Office Porter Vacancy in London

We are now seeking to recruit an enthusiastic Front office porter who has the talent and ability to deliver an outstanding service consistently.
Main Areas of Responsibility

To ensure all guests receive a warm and courteous welcome upon arrival with a pleasant smile.
To constantly check and maintain the forecourt, entrance, lobby, lifts and front desk areas to ensure cleanliness and tidiness. Reporting and following up any maintenance issues immediately to the guest services team leader.
To ensure that all entrance glass is clean and smudge free and that the forecourt paved areas are swept overnight and during the day as often as required to maintain an immaculate first impression.
To ensure that the highest level of service is provided to all guests and clients of the hotel, when being dealt with.
To ensure that all guest comments, including complaints, are reported and recorded with the Front Desk Team Leader.
To be fully conversant with all legislation in respect of data protection and ensure it is complied with at all times.
To maintain appropriate standards of conduct, dress, hygiene, uniform, appearance and posture at all times.
Ensure all luggage is correctly tagged and if not query with the front office Team.
Prepare luggage Tags in advance ensuring all storage areas are well stocked and properly maintained.
Ensure all ashtrays are kept clean and debris free presenting promotional brochures in the displays provided.
Ensure all the Reception toilets are checked for cleanliness and restocking if necessary.
Continually collect and distribute correspondence, fax and mail between the hotel departments, guest rooms and offices.
Help Housekeeping team when needed and provided housekeeping service to guest when it’s required. (eg-: providing extra beds, cleaning room, delivering room service orders, etc.)

As a Front office Porter you will work 5 days per week, including weekends. Shifts are usually from 7am until 3.30pm or from 2.30pm until 11pm.
Flexibility is a must as this is shift work including weekends.
There is no specific education or qualification required for this job.
