Killer Tomato opened in Shepherd's Bush in August 2021, serving burritos, tacos and cocktails. Our reviews are top notch: Time Out listed us in their top 10 tacos in London, Metro called us a 'little gem' and we're already one of the top 10 Mexican restaurants in London on Trip Advisor. We about to open a second site in Portobello Road and are now expanding our fantastic team.
We are looking for an experienced waiter/waitress who wants to join a growing, innovative company and move up. It's a hands-on role and a small team, so you will spend the majority of your time on the floor, working across both our sites. You will be responsible for hiring other FOH staff, training, people management, ordering, stock takes and generally putting systems in place about how we operate. All our operations are paperless and we don't accept cash - so no late night float reconciliation needed, and we use Planday for our rotas so shift-swapping etc is a breeze. The role reports directly to the MD.
It's 45 hours per week spread over eight or nine shifts. We offer good basic pay and great tips - the team share 100% of the tips with no deductions by management, not even for credit card fees.
