Stax Diner, Boondocks Restaurant, Famous Flames and Butterscotch Bakery are an independent and growing collection of American places to eat. We've been featured in Harper's Bazaar, Glamour Magazine, Eater, Timeout, Adam Richman's Secret Eats, among others. We are famous for our buttermilk fried chicken and waffles, finger licking wings, outrageously messy burgers as well as our Nutella Duffin sundaes!
The Famous Flames is an American chicken and flame grilled burger restaurant based in Camden, London.
The roles include completing takeaway and eat-in orders as well as bar orders inside Simmons, managing stock and placing orders to our central production unit, as all of our items are made fresh from the sauces to shaping the burgers etc etc.
The ideal candidates will have:
*A great personality who won't shy from engaging with customers in telling them about our food, asking them about their day, and cultivating loyalty and almost a cult-like following. We want our customers to feel relaxed and taken care of as well as each other!
*Very proactive and always keeps the customers and taking care of our team in mind and supporting one another, keeping things neat and tidy and helping each other to make every service a smooth and successful one.
*Being Efficient is key--we have a small team so there are no wasted hours--it will be a workout with us! (But a fun one)
*being disciplined about learning all of the procedures needed for a smooth and happy service.
*Really cooperative and flexible with hours when other staff members have emergencies and can't come in.
*Keep an upbeat attitude even when your personal day might not go so well (don't worry we have ice cream to soothe the soul!)
*Creativity when it comes to engaging with customers, the decor and design (that includes choosing the playlist for the day and writing cool sayings on the blackboards!)
*Really believe in the idea of great food and that food is fun and creates great memories, and to want to be a part of that great memory.
*keep an eye for anything that just doesn't look right and either report it to your supervisor or fix it yourself.
*Must be efficient and speedy as it's a fast-paced environment.
*Must be immaculately presented, speak fluent English, and have proof of eligibility to work in the UK
*have a good sense of humour. Goofy stuff happens. Laughs are allowed.
Successful applicants will be offered full training.
Benefits include paid holidays and staff meals.
Front of House pay is from 8.50 per hour (dependent on experience)
Assistant Manager pay is 10.50 per hour
