Summary
- Front of House manager needed to help run a small but high-volume site in the heart of the City
- Simple but exceptional takeaway food
- Responsibility for serving customers, managing the service counter and addressing any issues as they arise
- Monday to Friday daytimes
- Part-time / full-time both possible (part time would be Mondays and Tuesdays)
- £22-25k depending on experience (or equivalent for part time)
- 28 days paid holiday, incl. Bank holidays (or equivalent for part time)
- 10 hours per day (11 on Fridays)
- Free meals
- Starting as soon as possible
About Yolk
- Yolk serves takeaway breakfast and lunch for the discerning Londoner - perfectly-poached egg pots and ultimate hot sandwiches
- After 3 years honing our menu through a range of successful pop-ups, we’ve now opened our first fixed site
- The unit is small but perfectly formed, in a high-footfall area near Liverpool Street station
- We plan to open a number of other locations over the next 2-3 years
What we’re looking for
- We are seeking a positive, engaging and motivated individual to work on the till at our new (and first!) site
- The successful candidate will work closely with the founder and the Head of Kitchen Operations, and will be responsible for the customer experience when ordering from Yolk
- The role is absolutely critical in keeping our customers happy, ensuring they love the brand and want to come back
- Responsibilities will include interacting with customers, making sales, addressing errors and customer complaints, communicating clearly with the kitchen, training any new or part-time front of house staff, maintaining financial accounts and cash control
- experience working in a takeaway/fast casual environment would be useful, but is not essential
- A big personality, confidence and charm are essential - plus calmness under pressure and a passion for food
- If interested, there's scope for an ambitious candidate to play a key role in growing the business over the next few years
