We are looking for part time and full-time staff to come join us here at The Hare and Billet. experience isn’t a must but it helps! We are a busy pub with lots of events going on so it is important that you can work well under pressure and enjoy the busy atmosphere! Located in Blackheath Village, SE London. We like to have fun, work hard, give great service and work together as a team- and we are looking for like-minded people to join us.
We need both bar and floor staff and you will be trained on both! Greeting customers with a smile, giving fantastic service and doing it all in your own individual way is what we are looking for.
A high level of spoken and written English is needed for this job as communication is the key to success in a team.
The role:
As a member of the Front of House team you will be expected to:
- Serve and engage with customers to make them feel welcome and satisfied with their experience.
- Learn to work quickly and efficiently in a busy environment.
- Be positive, friendly, helpful and professional even when working under pressure.
- Be available to work evenings and weekends.
- Take pride in the pub and its reputation and strive to maintain our high standards.
- No prior experience necessary - we're simply looking for people with the right outlook and attitude to join our team.
- All applicants must be fluent in English, have a National Insurance Number, a valid UK/EEA passport or full working visa and bank account.

We are looking for staff to build our team here and can be flexible with your requirements.

Starting rate is £7.5** per hour and great service charge, with the ability to develop within our team and push on here or at another site into more senior roles if so wanted.
