Front Desk Agent
Scope:
An amazing opportunity as Front Desk Agent for a unique individual
* The Front Desk Agentwilloffer a smooth and efficient check in and out service and to familiarise guests with outlets and facilities in the hotel as a whole and in rooms.
* To offer any assistance required by guests and acting as a Host while in the Lobby
* To act as an Ambassador of the hotel with both guests and colleagues.
* To cover when required Night Audit duties
Main Duties:
* The Front Desk Agent willwelcome guests in a professional and courteous manner and to create a warm and hospitable atmosphere in which the guests might feel at home.
* To maintain the standard of excellence required in a "5 star" operation and environment to meet and exceed guests expectations
* To actively promote The Dorchester hotel services and facilities to guests in other hotel areas
* To participate in team and cross departmental meetings and training sessions to acquire fresh knowledge and skills to improve personal performance to ensure a consistent guests experience
Requirements:
* Fluent written and verbal English is essential
* Second language preferred
* Some previous experience in similar 5 star establishment beneficial
* Technical expertise. Knowledge of Opera or similar hospitality software
* Understanding of hospitality industry and legislation i.e. Health and safety, licensing; employment law, Hotel or Industry and legislation
* Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom
