We are looking for a friendly, energetic, live-in au pair to help us look after our children, a girl aged 6 and boys aged 10 and 12.
The role would be about 20-25 hours a week.
Duties would include:
Help in the morning with getting the children ready for school - breakfast, packed lunches, playing with our daughter. Hours 7-9am.
On 3 days a week, we would ask you to walk our daughter to school, about a 15 minute walk.
Then free till 3.30 - there are lots of English schools nearby and many other au-pairs to keep you company.
In the afternoons, 3 days a week we would like you to collect our daughter from school at 3.30, play with her and make a simple meal, until we get home from work around 6.
Other duties would include light housework (we have a separate cleaner), help with laundry, a little bit of ironing, generally keeping the house clean and tidy.
In school holidays, we would ask you to be flexible and help out a bit more.
We need babysitting once a week midweek, and one weekend evening but otherwise the weekends are completely your own to explore London.
We live in East Finchley, which is a safe, pretty suburb on the Northern line of the tube. It is well connected by bus, and takes about 25 minutes on the tube to be in the centre of London. East Finchley and its surrounding areas have lots of cafes, libraries, parks and shops.
We will welcome you in our family and support you to have an amazing, sociable, educational, fun filled experience in London. You will have your own double bedroom with private en-suite shower room, and of course wifi, TV etc.
You do not have to be able to drive. But you need to be energetic, independent, have conversational English and be happy to play football and table tennis in the garden, and enjoy imaginative play with dolls and teddies and arts and crafty play for our daughter.
You must be a non smoker, and able to start as near to the beginning of September as possible. We would like you to stay at least a year but longer if possible. We are looking to pay £90-100 per week.
