British Family located in the heart of Belgravia are seeking a part time French tutor / nanny to spend 3 hours a day with their 5 year old daughter. Initially this role will just be for the summer holiday period, but there is scope for it continuing as a permanent role once school starts again in September although the hours and days may alter slightly.
Candidates must have prior experience in childcare or tutoring, and specifically experience working with younger children, so that they can adapt routines, games and instruction so that it is relevant and fun for this age group. Candidates must also be native, or fluent French speaking, naturellement.
Location: Belgravia
Hours of Work: Mon-Friday 14 h30 – 17 h30 until early September initially
Salary: Hourly rate DOE
Start Date: as soon as possible
Interviewing: as soon as possible
Notes: Up to date DBS check required
Responsibilities to include:
• Creating fun and stimulating games to engage the young girl with the French language
• Gently introduce her to the language in every day usage
• Take her on trips and educational outings
Candidates must be / have:
• French as mother tongue / fluent
• Up to date DBS
• Checkable references
• Previous experience working with Primary School age children
• Previous experience teaching French
• Fun, good humoured warm and engaging
