We are a very busy serviced apartments company based in London. We are looking for a skilled bookkeeper/accountant preferably speaking French to join an ambitious, enthusiastic and innovative business and play an important part in shaping a finance platform to support and ensure profitable growth. The successful candidate will work closely with the Operations Director to deliver the Company’s range of services.
Responsibilities:
* Financial admin/Bookkeeping
* Work on monthly payroll and annual corporation tax.
* Prepare monthly and draft year-end financial statements,
* Billing management/credit control
* Review and implement operational systems.
* Manage payables ledger and sales ledger.
* Bank reconciliations
* Performance manangement
* Make payments to suppliers Paye etc.
* Manage balance sheet adjustments
* Retain financial and corporate records
* Performs other duties as assigned
Skills and experience:
* Strong technical accountant with experience in a finance role.
* Proven ledger experience
* Proficient in the use of financial applications.
* Excellent communication and proven team management skills.
* Honest, discreet and trustworthy and Good at problem-solving.
* Proven track record in driving continuous process improvement.
* Confident, ambitious, self-starter, robust and commercially aware.
* Prefer AAT/ACCA qualified
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and experienced Accountant / Bookkeeper to join a dynamic and growing company. Salary dependent on experience.
Hours of work required 3 / 4 days a week 9am-6pm.
