We are looking for a French-speaking nanny for our toddler (20 months), starting sometime between 1st October and the end of the year.
Our preference is for you to work 2 days a week, as our child is going to nursery the other days, however for the right candidate we could consider changing this slightly. It would also be advantageous if you could be available in the early evenings of the other weekdays (to be able to also help with a nursery pick-up and evening routine; this could be on a regular or ad-hoc basis) but this is not crucial for the right candidate. We are a short walk from a couple of tube and train stations and having your own car is not necessary.
We are looking for someone with character that will help with development of language, confidence, and good manners. Day to day activities encompass all the typical aspects for a child of this age i.e. Snack/meal prep and supervision, nappy changing and, in due course, helping with toilet training, organising age-appropriate play/stimulation, putting down for nap and being on hand whilst asleep (currently c.1.5 to 2 hours per day from midday), cleaning-up after meals/activities, and going on outings e.g. To the park, library, playgroups.
Good experience and strong references are a must for us. Candidates without formal qualifications will be considered, provided you are experienced.
Please contact us with your CV if you are interested.
