We are looking for a native French-speaking nanny/babysitter to mind our 7 month old son, starting in July. We would like to start with 1 or 2 days per week and are flexible as to which days. The role would include pick-up from daycare at 5-5:30pm (20 minute walk from our home), feeding, bath and bedtime, finishing around 7:30-8pm. We may or may not be home during this time, depending on our work schedules. We are located in NW3 (Belsize Park).
We speak English (mum) and French (dad) at home, so would love for our son to have another regular caretaker to be able to speak and read to him in French. He is a bright, easy-going baby who delights everyone with his lovable smile. We both have busy jobs that sometimes spill into the evening hours, so having a day or two where we do not need to rush out of the office would be a great help. We are relatively flexible, so please feel free to apply and make suggestions for the role if you meet the qualifications.
Our ideal candidate would be DBS checked, first aid trained with valid certificate, and Ofsted or other childminder qualifications a plus but not required. We would like someone energetic, fun-loving and flexible, with a demonstrated interest in babies/children. We would welcome au pairs looking for additional part-time work. Willing to pay 10-12 pounds/hour, DOE.
