We're looking for a talented chef who is comfortable taking on a multi-faceted role in our modest open-plan meat-free kitchen as, part of our small tight-knit Founding team. The role advertised is one day a month over the duration of 3 months (from July - September) although there will be the opportunity for longer term work too.
To provide you with a little more info on the project; we're eager to launch our private suppers under the name Hemp from next month at an amazing space in Soho overlooking the cobbles of Old Compton Street. The suppers will be used to promote our once-weekly 'after work drinks' bar concept, which we aim to Launch December 2021/January 2022.
This position requires an individual who maintains exceptionally high standards throughout their working practices. A genuine passion for and knowledge of seasonal produce and plant based cookery is a must, along with an open-mind towards food and willingness to learn.
experience in baking and patisserie or sushi and Japanese cuisine (particularly the latter) is a distinct advantage; as we will require an Executive Pastry Chef and Executive Sushi Chef for our forthcoming bar, brunch and retail plans.
