Job description
 6:30 a.m. Start daily
 Working as part of a team of 4 in busy Café kitchen
 Deputise in the absence of the Head Chef and ensure standards are maintained to the highest level.
 Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team. Assist with menu planning including menu costing, ordering and stock control
 Assist in developing the kitchen team
 Assist the Head Chef with achieving targets set by Lexington on food standards, budgets and EMS
 Input new ideas and food styles to maintain customer satisfaction
 Assist head chef with menu writing, preparation, daily ordering, cleaning and workload planning for the café and hospitality
 Ensure that cooking and presentation of food is to required standard
 Ensure all H and S regulations set out onsite are maintained and correctly recorded.
