Food and Beverage Assistant Required

Our hotel has 126 bedrooms and 5 conference rooms. We are looking for Food and Beverage Assistant who will assist with Breakfast and Dinners, Conference Lunch when required.
You would be responsible for setting up, maintaining and breaking down the breakfast buffet and for maintaining the breakfast and dining area. With a minimal supervision provide exceptional guest service by welcoming them and be well attended at all times.
You will also be assisting conference lunches whenever required and also serving food during the evening. You will be responsible to maintain the breakfast/dinner and lobby area in a clean and organized condition at all time.
Being a hotel, hours are variable; however you will receive a minimum of 20 hrs per week, any day any time of the week.
Salary: Minimum wage.
You must be flexible and willing to work whenever required. Some weeks, you might receive up to 30 - 40 hrs, it all depends on hotel's occupancy.
Breakfast duties starts from 6am, dinner from 6pm.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Preparing/Cooking/Baking breakfast, cleaning tables, dining and buffet area.
Assists guests when required, attend to hotel guest needs and requests.
Must know about the entire property, services, hours of operation, locations, nearby places of interest etc.
Prepare and consistently maintain dining area and supplies in a guest ready atmosphere.
Ensure breakfast items are continually replenished and presented in an appealing manner.
Wiping up spills and maintaining cleanliness of all appliances and counter space throughout the breakfast shift.
Clearing and cleaning tables as they are vacated.
Any other duties around preparation, set up and service of the complimentary breakfast.
Washing, wiping serving equipment and returning it to storage.
Locking refrigerators, restocking items, turning off lights, and completing daily, weekly and deep cleaning checklists.
Assist with closing duties, including storing all reusable goods, breaking down goods, cleaning all equipment and areas, returning equipment to proper locations.
Work as a team member in aspects such as: cleaning, side work, food preparation and storage.
Close out shift by cleaning and restocking supplies for next day or shift.
Ensure guests are provided with the highest quality product and service at all times.
Solve guest issues with professionalism and always maintain hospitable attitude.
Any other duties as requested by Duty Manager.
During Dinner times, you will be delivering food orders to guest tables, assisting chef and washing dishes.

Job Requirements:

Minimum 6 months experience in the Hotel/Hospitality Industry.
Individual with the passion to deliver great customer service.
Hotel experience will be an advantage
Knowledge of any foreign languages
