Livewire Kitchen needs more bright Sparks!
We're seeking outstanding part-time FOH Assistants / Baristas to work in our fast-paced, high energy café-bar situated within a buzzing Workspace, in Vauxhall London.
New to market, Livewire Kitchen is just into its second year of trading, and run by its two very hands-on founders, Zoe and Nina.
With exciting growth plans ahead, we’re looking for someone to join us who has a genuine passion for the business, perhaps even wanting to open or manage their own coffee shop or restaurant one day. In return for that passion, we’ll be committed to offering the chance and support to learn, the training required, and future opportunities to personally grow within the business.
We’re looking for people full of energy, brimming with positive attitude, who come to work with beaming smiles and a can-do approach; we need you to embody the underlying essence of the Livewire brand, that ‘every day needs bright Sparks’.
We deliver bright Sparks to our customers through outstanding service when they take that valued break from their work, engaging with them on their level, offering a great environment to escape from their desk to, and creating food and drink that’s designed to boost their energy levels and brain power.
Over-delivery on guest satisfaction and the ability to sell are key at Livewire, and will therefore be rewarded.
Barista trained is desirable; at a minimum coffee making skills are a must.
Main tasks of the FOH Assistant / Barista role include: daily operation / opening / closing of the café; making coffees to a high standard; maintaining full, attractive and clean displays in all areas; managing product signage; greeting and efficient serving of customers; generating revenue through selling and upselling across the product range; understanding and communicating the Livewire concept; handling enquiries regarding the café, outside catering and events; and so on…
Don’t apply if you are work-shy or don’t thrive under pressure, as the days are non-stop from the word ‘Go’, and we can guarantee you’ll be kept on your toes! Our standards are high, so you need to be someone who believes in only delivering the best at all times, and who gets satisfaction out of this.
Importantly though, at the same time as racing around, and delivering the best, we also like to have fun!

1. 15 - 20 hrs/wk, between 7am – 6pm, Mon – Fri
2. 15 – 20 hrs/wk, between 7am – 6pm, Weds – Fri
Optional occasional event shifts and bar nights in addition.
