Apart from the above we are looking for the following Essentials:
•City of Guild Level 3 or a relevant equivalent
•5 years of contract experience and confidence in all aspects of floristry
•Ability to produce hand-tied bouquets to company specification, as well as on the spot bespoke items with Petersham Nurseries sensibility
•Passion for nature and related lifestyle
•Self-training and self-motivational attitude
•Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
•Natural rapport building, maintenance and development of customer relationships
•Mindful communication and consistent approachability
•Immaculate self-presentation
•Natural flair for design
•Schedule flexibility

Key responsibilities
•Producing hand-tied bouquets to company specification, as well as on the spot bespoke items with Petersham Nurseries sensibility on a daily basis
•Styling displays and installing arrangements on site (in store and restaurants)
•Growing the business through establishing and fulfilling corporate relationships
•Conditioning and maintenance of floristry product at the highest level, including display items throughout the store, restaurants and courtyard
•Providing expert advice on flowers and their care to customers
•Delivering one-on-one and group florist training to the rest of the team
•Assisting in developing product offer: through providing regular feedback on customer requests, and through identifying and catering to trends and one-off custom opportunities
•Supporting and delivering of store sales and KPI targets both group and individual.
