Hybrid Flowers based in Vauxhall, London is currently looking for a Floral Designer for Events and Weddings.
We are looking for an inspired, forward thinking and organised person to work with us as a floral designer for both corporate and private events. The successful candidate would be working with some of London's most amazing venues and fabulous events companies.
This is a unique role which will utilise both your floristry, design, presentation and organisation skills. This office based position involves listening to clients' requirements and putting together design proposals, attending meetings with clients, winning events pitches and working closely with both the office and workshop teams.
You have to be:
• Skilled in floristry: have a strong and proven background in floristry
• Excellent at communication: have the ability to express different design options both verbally and on screen and to express and discuss methods with the rest of the team
• Practical and sensible: be acutely aware of what will work in terms of mechanics, logistics and budgets
• Organised and able to prioritise: at busy times the ability to focus and prioritise is key
• Forward thinking: always thinking of new ways to improve and move forward in terms of sales and marketing
