Strong floor staff wanted to join the opening team of Wander, a small, casual contemporary restaurant opening in Stoke Newington in late October.
Wander is a 34 cover restaurant and will be open for dinner Wed- Saturday and brunch Saturday and Sun. So always a 5 day week, one double and then Sun night, Monday and Tuesday off. Salary will be determined according to experience and 100% of service charge will go to staff with a 50% split between kitchen and floor. The FOH and kitchen will work very closely together and there will be lots of opportunity to learn about food, produce, wine, cocktails, coffee, tea.
You will be working with Alexis Noble, the chef and owner, who's spent her career working in some of the best kitchens in Sydney, San Fransisco, New York, London and Rome. Wander is her first restaurant, and she aims to create a fun, creative and healthy place to work. Basically a Sydney restaurant in London.
Wander will have an everchanging, seasonal menu of dishes designed to share with lots of Italian and Asian influences. The wine list features mainly natural Australian and Italian wines and local beer and cider.
The team we already have comes from Michelin star backgrounds, but experience isn't as important as attitude.
