FLOOR AND BAR STAFF - FULL/PART TIME - PERMANENT
15/30 + hours per week, 3/5 days a week
£8/9 + an hour plus tips
We are looking for people who consider themselves professionals in hospitality and therefore have a professional attitude towards the job. Someone with good experience of working with the public, as part of a team (but with the capacity to think for themselves) work well in potentially stressful situations and problem solve under pressure.
DUTIES
- Opening/setting up and closing the restaurant.
- Meeting and greeting customers, taking orders,
- Making/serving drinks including serving wine to the table (ability to make cocktails and barista style coffee is a plus but not essential)
- Serving pizza and working on the pass with the pizza chef to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
- Answering the phone and taking orders for collection.
- Generally ensuring a room full of happy people.
- Adhering to food hygiene and food safety regulations in terms of appearance, practice and discipline.
QUALITIES AND SKILLS
- A friendly and positive attitude, with excellent interpersonal skills
- experience of working with the public in a hospitality environment.
- experience working on a simple pos system.
- Reliable and with a good sense of organization.
- Capacity to adapt and multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Great level of English.
- Willingness to learn and develop within the role.

Loven is an independent neighborhood pizzeria, bar and art space close to Seven Sisters tube station. We have been operating in the area for 4 years and opened our current space in December 2021. We are English/Italian partnership with a team from all over the world. We are friendly, relaxed but hardworking group with a belief in providing high quality food and a fantastic experience. Our customers are mainly people who live in the area and share our belief in building a great local community and being part of the future of the area.
