Wasabi Retail Floor Team Members play a crucial role to provide exceptional customer service that leaves our customers feeling happy and excited about visiting us again. Come Roll with us! Essence of Role Key Accountabilities Labeling and packaging of food and other items Working in the Kitchen and concession front of house to provide excellent customer serviceTo work together to ensure the concession and kitchen is at is best standards Receiving goods and deliveries and ensuring they are placed in the relevant areas Carrying out all food hygiene and health and safety practices in line with company procedures and regulationsTo take the time to respond to customers' needs and to deliver outstanding and amazing service Dealing with customers in an efficient, professional and friendly manner at all times Providing customers with relevant information on products and any other requests Working on the tills and serving hot food Ensuring speedy service with a friendly attitude and managing queues effectively Making sure that customers are served properly, fairly and in a timely manner Meeting and greeting customers Representing the company and yourself in a professional manner Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the floor Keeping constantly up to date with menu changes and any promotions in the company Assisting with stock control checks when required by management Wearing the appropriate uniform and/or PPE supplied by the company in line with company policies Attending any training and or meetings as required by the company Adhering to all statutory company policies and procedures Ensuring that you are fully aware of and adhering to the health and safety regulations concerning your employment and promoting a safe environment for yourself, your colleagues and customers Reporting any maintenance issues immediately to the relevant manager/sTaking responsibility for your own personal development at work and striving to be the best in what you do; taking pride in your work Maintaining punctuality and an exemplary attendance record The candidate The right candidate will demonstrate our core behaviors (on the website)Is passionate about Wasabi and has visited our Branches Has previous experience as a Team Member or worked in a similar environment Excellent verbal communication Rapport building skills Questioning and listening skills Demonstrates empathyDe-escalation skills Team Player Understands the importance of Hygiene in the food industry Neat, smart and suitably dressed to work in the food industry Excellent attention to detail Must be flexible to work suitable shift patterns and work in a small environment Demonstrates initiative and willingness to learn and ambition In return we provide:great working environmentbonus scheme, Perkbox benefits plus other incentives andthe opportunity to develop your skills within a growing company.If you're looking for an exciting challenge and this sounds like the job for you please apply today as we can't wait to hear from you. *You should be eligible to live and work in the UK.
