We are a family of 5 - Mum + Dad + Big Sis (7) + Big Bro (3) + Lil Sis (0)
Our latest member is only 6 weeks old hence the household is busy (and sleep deprived) and we would like some occasional help.
We are looking for someone fairly local who can help with the children and light house duties such as loading the dishwasher or fold the kids never ending laundry. No cleaning required, but someone with a passion for cooking healthy meals would be a major plus.
The baby is currently on 3 school runs a day and it would be good to spare her some, so experience with newborns and young babies is also a definite plus. Mum will be around so you're hardly ever left with more than one or two kids at any time.
The children's needs are very different. Big Sis is an arty 7 year old who is mostly helpful around the house and would benefit from some quiet time for homework and reading. Big Bro is a bundle of energy and fun who needs nothing more than someone with a sunny disposition to play trains or Lego with him (and possibly dance around). The baby just needs the odd cuddle and rocking here and there, but mainly she needs not to be out in the cold dropping and picking up siblings from nursery or school three times a day.
The role would suit a responsible student with some experience in childcare, a mum with older children with spare hours in the day or an experienced nanny who might be looking for flexible hours.
Hours could be 10:30-1:30 or 1:00-4:00 or 3:00-6:00 or whatever might suit both parties. Salary will be based on experience.
