Fitness Assistant General Manager - The Ned, London.
The Role:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fitness Assistant General Manager to be responsible for all aspects of the Fitness and Pool Operation, supporting the Fitness General Manager in driving fitness sales and revenue, operating criteria, department costs, staff relations and training.
The Fitness Assistant General Manager will play a key role in the Spa’s vision of success ensuring the highest standards of customer service and satisfaction throughout all aspects of the fitness operation.
General duties:
• Ensure that the reception desk is always manned during operational hours.
• Attend any meetings or training sessions and courses as required.
• Assist fellow employees to perform similar or related jobs as and when necessary.
• Ensure guest satisfaction.
• Clean and maintain the work area, materials, and equivalent, to report defective materials and equipment to GM.
To successfully fulfil this role, you will have current or previous experience as a Fitness Manager in an established environment. You will also have:
Essential Skills / experience:
• Current / previous experience as a Fitness Manager in a busy high-end environment managing a strong team of Personal Trainers.
• Pro-active and reliable
• To consistently deliver the very highest of standards to ensure every guest has an experi-Ence that exceeds their expectation.
• Must have the ability to lead, multi-task, and make sound decisions in fast-paced envi-ronment.
• Nutritional experience / Qualification
• Proven Track record of regular clients
• REPS Level 3
• First Aid
Desirable Skills / experience/ Qualification:
• Administrative experience
• First Aid Trained
• Life Guard Trained
• experience in Risk Assessments
• Studio Co-ordination
• Spin Instructor
• Hotel Fitness Management experience
• Familiar with P and L;’s, forecasting and Budgets.

London-based Soho House and Co and New York’s Sydell Group have joined forces to create The Ned: a hotel, club and collection of restaurants in the City of London.
Set in the iconic former Midland Bank building, The Ned was designed by Sir Edwin 'Ned' Lutyens in 1924. The heritage building will open in April 2022, hosting nine restaurants, 252 bedrooms channelling 1920s and 1930s design, a range of men’s and women’s grooming services (Cowshed, Cheeky and Neville) and ‘Ned’s Club’, where members have access to a rooftop pool, gym, spa, hamam and late night lounge bar.The Ned is a new opening from Soho House and Co and Sydell Group, located in the heart of The City. Originally a bank, the Grade-I listed building has been developed and restored to hold 252 hotel bedrooms, nine restaurants and bars, a gym, Cowshed spa and two swimming pools, as well as diverse event spaces.
