First Rate Brunch Cook Needed

Albion Tea is restoring pride to our national drink by converting you to loose-leaf. We’re doing this through Brew, the Tea Pub, a place with the spirit of a pub but instead of pints of beer we serve pots of tea, tea based cocktails and food that reinterprets British tradition.
We want to work with a cook to deliver the best British brunch in London.We’re looking for someone who knows how to run a professional kitchen like a well-oiled machine. In return we offer the opportunity to be in at the beginning of something that is going to grow across this country and beyond.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
15 hours a week Saturday and Sunday mornings
Proven experience in successfully managing a professional brunch service
Full UK working credentials and fluent English.
The ability to start work early

You don’t need to know about tea or cocktails as it will be our privilege and pleasure to train you. You do need to like helping people have the best time possible when they are in a Tea Pub.
We’re looking for someone who:
Above all, is motivated by seeing customers enjoy a great experience
Takes pride in providing delicious and beautifully presented food
Demonstrates knowledge of menu and recipe development
Interested in providing at least 1 new guest dish per month per order of service
Has experience of working with budgeting, financial planning and food costs
Brings considerable knowledge of food service management
Is keen to learn while also able to teach and mentor kitchen staff
Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and thrives under pressure
Likes being involved creatively and logistically from the beginning of a project
Builds strong relationships with food vendors and suppliers
Ensures high standards of sanitation, cleanliness and safety at all times
Enjoys working with others and forging a close-knit, high-performing team
