SSP employs c 35,000 staff across 30 countries - our 'food travel experts'.The Role The successful candidate will assist the Fire Safety Manager in:The completion of Fire Risk Assessments for over 600 food outlets and support areas throughout the UK, Ireland and Guernsey, in accordance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. Present monthly fire safety training to Managers and colleagues. Attend fire related incidents affecting SSP premises to carry out initial internal fire investigation. Provide written and verbal fire safety advice to all areas of business up to board level. Liaise with clients across Rail, Air, Shopping Centres, Hospitals and Holiday Villages in matters relating to fire safety.The Details Qualifications required-Essential-experience in completing life fire risk assessments, with a working knowledge of the PAS-79 (2012).A suitable Level-3 and above fire safety/fire risk assessment qualification- NEBOSH Fire/DFRMO/SFJ. Professional membership of a recognized fire safety institution- IOSH/IFPO/IFE. Good written/verbal/IT skills.
