We are a North London based family of five (3 kids aged 13,11, 8 years) that is looking for a housekeeper.
Working days are likely to be Mon-Fri afternoons, 4-6 hours per day (open for discussion), normally not after 19:00 (ability to stay longer could be an advantage but we also have separate babysitting contacts)
You must have a permit to work in the UK, been in the UK for at least 3 years, have references from a contactable previous employer. Proven experience of housekeeping work; CRB checked. Someone who drives to work and can occasionally drive the kids to local after school club would be an advantage.
We are looking for someone with attention to detail, honest, that is positive and cheerful person.
The work includes:
Housework: Full house cleaning, laundry, light ironing, easy cooking (i.e. Peeling vegetables, frying…) - ability and willingness to cook is would be an advantage.
Occasional child care: The mother works from home, but has occasional meetings away as well as after school activities with one of the kids which may require the housekeeper to stay alone with the kids and sometimes help their dinner. You must feel confident to be around kids (including teenagers).
We live 15 minutes walk from Finchley Central Tube station and a 5 minutes walk from bus Stops number 13, 460, 611 on Allendale Avenue bus stop, and 143, 326, 643, 653, 683 on Crooked Usage bus stop.
