£55000 - £80000 Per annum + car, pension, bonus, extras.
Company client is recruiting for financial crime analytics professionals to work across a number of Fin Crime, AML, Sanctions, Fraud-Abuse and similar engagements. Basic salaries range between £55,000 - £80,000 supported by car allowances, PMIs, annual bonus and pension schemes plus additional extras.
Your responsibilities will include but may not be limited to:
* Providing oversight, guidance and direction to managers on multiple concurrent and complex analytics projects;
* Building strong relationships with senior members;
* Development of new methodologies and approaches to address needs;
* Drafting reports and presentations
To be considered you must have a minimum of a 2:1 degree in a technical or analytical based subject (e.g. Computer science, mathematics, etc. - or equivilent) and demonstrable experience in a number of the following disciplines:
* Data analytics programming (e.g. SAS, SPSS, R);
* Understanding of common data quality problems;
* Data cleansing and manipulation;
* General understanding of statistics;
* Predictive analytics and/or pattern detection;
* Software development life cycle and methodologies.
* To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following:
* The ability to come up with creative solutions to complex problems;
* Concise and clear communication to all levels of management;
* The ability to work independently with little supervision, but integrate well into teams;
* High level of enthusiasm, energy and personal integrity;
* The ability to motivate staff to deliver quality work;
* A strong desire to learn and willingness to share knowledge.
