Artist Residence is an eccentric bunch of fun and boutique hotels restaurants and bars, located in London, Brighton, Cornwall and Oxfordshire. As our operation is growing we are looking for a Finance Assistant.
Our finance manager, Mario, is looking for a finance assistant to help with some of the following:
· Reconciliation of supplier statements/invoices
· Ensuring all invoices are inputted in Xero
· Follow up/resolve any query from suppliers
· Sales reconciliation
· Reconciliation of Hotel and F and B payments
· Reconciliation of "House accounts" and "Voids/Comps"
· Credit card/cash reconciliation
· Address any issue with the General Manager and communicate with Directors and Finance Manager
· Help the Finance Manager to implement best practice policies within the company
What are the core skills we are looking for:
· Attention to detail
· Great people skills
· Be able to work in a fast paced environment
· Team player
· Customer focus
· Time keeping and ability to prioritise
· Xero and Receipt Bank as accounting system knowledge (would be an advantage but not essential)
· Expert in the Office suite (mainly Word and Excel)
About you:
· Fun and friendly
· 2 years experience in accounting and finance (hospitality related is an advantage)
· Want to learn and be part of an award winning company
