Finance Assistant

Focus of the Role:
Ensure timely reconciliations of all TBI bank accounts both UK and overseas including in country trackers/prepaid cards (e.g, Caxton).
Liaise with our bankers for queries, eg, payment queries.
Process supplier invoices in the accounting systems accurately and efficiently including raising purchases orders, check authorisations and prepare payments to suppliers, in accordance with relevant TBI policies and KYC process, payment allocation.
Process payroll related payments/pension uploads.
Raise relevant sales invoices and process in the accounting systems accurately and efficiently, in accordance with relevant TBI policies and KYC process.
Ensure all entries are posted with the correct VAT coding.
Check receipts and accurate recording of staff expenses reimbursement in accordance with TBI expenses policy.
Proactively provide solutions to issues received from the business.
Process and reconcile the corporate credit cards statements including downloading and circulation to card holders. Ensure expenditure is in line with TBI credit card guidelines and approved.
Maintain adequate petty cash float for TBI needs, including the travel team. Ensure timely reconciliations to ledgers.
Support development of efficiencies and automated solutions for Finance process and procedures, e.g, scanning, online expenses, purchase orders.
Assist with month end routines including balance sheets reconciliations, providing copies of invoices when required to team members.
Proactively follow up on any unallocated receipts.
Other duties including filing of Financial records/data accurately and in a systematic order, supplier statement reconciliations.
Assist with any relevant audit requests during the annual audit period, eg, invoices.
Any other duties that may arise
