Finance and Administration Apprentice

OnCam, an independent IP video and tech company are looking for an apprentice to provide administrative support to the Finance Department and assist with the Office Administration tasks. This role is versatile and will allow you to get involved in multiple aspects of the business.

Requirements:
GCSE grade C or above including Maths and English
Ideally, we are looking for recent school leavers and non-graduates for the role.
Outline:
Accounting Level 3 standards qualification
Location: nearest stations are Chiswick Park and Gunnersbury, London
Responsibilities
1. Take charge of accounts e-mail account -filter /clear out
2. Summarise when invoices are due for payment – weekly payment schedule to be prepared for Accountant to do batch payment
3. Deal with internal approvals and ensure relevant budget holder has approved invoice for payment
4. Process/input invoices onto Sage, later Financial Force
5. Reconcile payments to invoices – both from batch payments as well as from DD’s
6. Ad hoc analysis on expenditure and time lines
7. Processing of employee expenses by adding from Certify to Sage/ Financial Force
8. Monthly payroll reconciliation – basic calculations for Accountant/CFO to sign off
9. Reconciling VAT records to invoices -ensuring correct details are quoted and used everywhere
10. Answer phone calls and handling phone queries accurately
11. Meet and greet visitors.
Hours are: 9am to 5:30pm, Mon-Fri
Essentials required:
1. Keen eye for detail
2. Excellent telephone manner
3. A willingness to learn new skills
4. Competent in MS Office
5. Competent in using Internet Explorer
6. Ability to stay calm under pressure
7. Ability to use own initiative
