Peabody has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Analyst to join our team in Waterloo. The successful applicant will join us on a full time fixed term basis of 18 months  and will receive a competitive salary of £36,000 - £42,000 pro rata.
The Finance Analyst role:

Exciting opportunity to join the Finance Services team. Job is to provide cover for a member of staff going on maternity. Peabody has recently merged with Family Mosaic, and integrated its finance systems. Role is split between financial accounting and banking. Primarily responsibilities include leading a banking team of 4, bank postings, reconciliations and manual payments through a period of change. Also will get involved with month end/year end processes, monitoring the other departments and providing financial support and analysis.
Knowledge/experience/skills required by the Finance Analyst:

- Excellent analytical skills
- Sound accounting knowledge and ability to apply knowledge to practical business situations.
- Ability to work independently, exercising good initiative and judgement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven time management and prioritisation skills.
- Proven experience and ability to deliver excellent customer care and valuing diversity.
- Proven attention to detail and ability to work on a variety of tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and targets.
- To ensure that all policies and procedures are adhered to so that consistent and standard practice is achieved across the organization.

Qualifications required of our Finance Analyst:
- Part qualified CCAB accountant, degree level qualification, or similar experience.
