Finance / Administration Assistant
Pro Active Rail has revolutionised staffing solutions in the rail industry, we are currently seeking a finance/administration assistant for an immediate start to support our growing demand.
The role will involve:
Assisting in the preparation and processing of payments to suppliers.
Credit Control
Supporting in control procedures, documentation and filing.
Liaising with external suppliers, internal departments and stakeholders.
Completing day end and month end procedures.
Maintaining all financial records ensuring compliance and assisting in audit preparation.
Undertaking adhoc duties to support the smooth running of the finance and administration department.
Assisting with processing of new starters.
Right to work document checks
Data Entry
Reception cover when required
Essential requirements for the ideal candidate:
Relevant experience
Excellent analytical skills including the use of spreadsheets and other financial management tools.
Ability to work to strict deadlines
Engaging and personable with an ability to communicate with both colleagues and suppliers alike.
Has a positive 'can-do' attitude
Ability to provide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
Sage experience would be an advantage, not essential.
Must possess a good working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
Full-time position, Monday to Friday
