To enhance long term owner value in the businesses and regulatory risks through supervision of department and administration.
Broad Statement of Duties
We are looking for a competitive Field Sales Agent to develop sales strategies and attract new clients. The successful leader will source new sales opportunities and close sales to achieve quotas. The successful candidate will play a key role in increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects and managing sales of products and services. As an outside sales representative, or sales agent, they will also research sales competition.

Overview of Tasks
1. One-to-one meetings with Field Sales Leader.
2. Conducting of observed sales and/or role-plays as part of the overall appraisal system.
3. Providing guidance and facilitating relevant pastoral care as required.
4. Intervening in issues if necessary.
5. Making decisions on the escalation of issues.
6. Reporting concisely to senior management on the decisions made by the Managing Director.
7. Evaluate business risks.
8. Working alongside Field Sales Leader to contribute to business development.
9. Get the sale using various customer’s sales methods (door to door, cold calling, etc.)
10. Forecast sales, develop out of box sales strategies/models and evaluate their effectiveness.
11. Evaluate customer needs and wants and as a result build long lasting relationship.
12. Meet personal and team targets that are set by the Field Sales Leader.
13. Research accounts and generate or follow through sales leads.
14. Attend meetings, sales events and trainings as required to keep abreast of the latest developments and business goals.
15. Maintain and expand client database within your assigned territory.
Objectives
1. Data input completed and not backlogged more than 2 working days in any period (holiday periods excepted).
2. Ensuring that the ‘treating customers fairly’ policy is adhered to.
3. Senior management are made aware of relevant and important matters.
4. Meeting compliance benchmarks.
5. Helping with the achievement of key performance indicators.
6. Promote core values.
7. Meet all KPI’s that are set out.
Qualification and Skills Requirements
1. Must have minimum of 2 years of field sales experience.
2. Excellent interpersonal skills – to deal with customers and external contacts
3. Good organisational skills and ability to work to, and sometime implement own processes.
4. Managing multiple accounts.
5. Being professional and thorough.
6. Taking initiative.
7. Being a team player.
8. Being trustworthy and reliable.
9. Prioritising tasks on their importance.
10. Ability to liaise confidently with senior management and Directors.
11. Work in line with professional ethics.
12. Familiar with different sales techniques.
13. Self-motivated and driven.
