Summary:
We are after a self-motivated sales professional with a passion to pioneer and develop the UK market for a big US sustainable canned seafood brand. Responsibilities include selling at store and account level, product demonstration, and planning and sponsoring local events. The product is already listed with Whole Foods Market, Planet Organic and many independent health and natural food shops.

Requirements for the job:

- IT savvy
- Demonstration or sales experience preferred.
- Food and beverage experience preferred

Primary responsibilities:
New account development at all levels of retail in all channels of distribution.
Key market focus:
- Wholefood Market UK
- All Natural channel UK
- Specialty channel UK
Maintain / improve performance of current account base.
Coordinate, supervise company presence at selected regional events.
Execute product demonstration and sampling programs throughout the region.
Highlight potential new partnerships that would be beneficial to the company.
Build and maintain key distributor rep partnerships in the region with all key distributor organisations.
Conduct post promotional activities evaluations and execution summaries.
Facilitate new item introductions / authorisations with account base in all channels.
Maintain updated store level audit information worksheet for brands in addition to collecting data regarding competitive price points and margins, sales events, shelf space trends, new product introductions, advertising and point of sale.
Highlight potential new partnerships that would be beneficial to the company.
Awareness of competitive information and products.

Administration
Provide weekly region sales summary to the Field Sales Director.
Execute business plans provided by Ted Horton and Field Sales Director.
Provide regional quarterly product forecast based on baseline and promotional activity.

Geography and travel: uk
Job Based in the greater London Market.
Year 1 market focus: (2022/18)
50% Of work time in London Metro
50% Of work time the remaining UK Markets:
- Northern England
- Western UK
- Scotland
- Ireland

Working relationships:
Internal: whole company team
External
- Trade partners: retail, natural and grocery primarily.
- Promotional Partners: demo and event groups.
- Distributors: eg, CLF and Tree of Life
