Bluebird Care Enfield currently have an amazing opportunity for you to join our team as a Care Supervisor! The supervisor is responsible for the overseeing of care for all of our customers. If you want to join a dynamic team making a positive difference to our customers, then this could be the role for you!
Customers tell us that what really matters to them is having care assistants that understand their needs and requirements even if they change regularly. Working alongside the care coordinators the care supervisor will be responsible for making sure our care assistants are providing the best quality care. You will use your excellent planning, organisational and care knowledge to make sure that each customer receives the care and support that they expect.
To apply for this position you will need:

QCF/NVQ level 3 or equivalent
At least one years’ care supervisor experience.

As a Field Care Supervisor duties will include:

Creating and agreeing a written individually tailored care plan and support that respects the customer’s wishes and promotes their dignity and privacy. Agree appropriate risk control measures to reduce identified risks. Keep care and support plans up to date and escalate concerns without delay.
Provide the customer and where appropriate their representatives with information about the service so that they are clear about what to expect and how they can raise any concerns.
Take part in the out of hours emergency on-call Rota as and when required. Effectively deal with emergency on-call issues, for example covering calls either directly or indirectly when care assistants are sick or absent.
Supervising care assistants to develop and Hone the right skills and experience to deliver the best quality care and support to each customer.
Organising supervisions and spot checks.
Responding efficiently to day to day changes in the care and support packages.
Providing excellent customer service
Building excellent relationships with our care assistants and customers.
Give care assistants information and guidance to safely provide care and support as agreed in the care and support plan. Provide induction, training and supervision to care assistants.
Work with the Bluebird Care coordinator to appropriately match care assistants to customers and manage the flow of work. Attend the customer's first call to introduce the care assistant. Report changes to care schedules without delay to the coordinator, customer and care assistant.
Distribute, collect and monitor MAR charts and act appropriately on findings.
