The Applicant

Have experience of caring for the elderly and disabled.
Be of a gentle and caring nature
Have an understanding of Dementia.
Able to be flexible with hours and days.
To be able to speak Hindi/Punjabi an advantage though not essential.
Local to Ruislip.
Ideally be able to spend some nights in order to give main carer some respite.

Upon selection there will be a trial period and the applicant will start with a few hours first with a view to expand these as needed.  It will be an advantage to be able to speak Hindi/Punjabi although not essential.

Duties

Personal Care
Massage
Light Cooking when required
Housework
Able to engage 1:1 to aid mental stimulation.
Hours and pay to be discussed at interview.
