£120 Week with January 2022 start date.
We are a family of four looking for a reliable and fun loving live-in au pair to help with our two girls ages 7 and 10. Our current au pair is leaving us to return to New Zealand in December and we need someone to start from early January 2022 and stay at least 6 months.
We live in a four bedroom house in Wimbledon about 10 minutes walk from the main train station and London underground. The house is located next to a park. Trains take about 15-20 minutes into central London. Mum and Dad work full-time in central London.
We are looking for a warm, fun but sensible au pair to help with the following:
- help get girls dressed and ready for school
- drop off and pick up girls from school
- support the girls with their homework
- organise occasional play dates with the girls' friends
- play with the girls including reading and art and help the girls clear up afterwards
- help bath and get girls ready for bed
- light housework including preparing girls' food, cleaning up after, loading and emptying dishwashers, helping with the girls' laundry
We have a cleaner that comes once a week.
We would like 30-35 hour a week and occasional babysitting (up to 2 nights a week). Usual hours are 7-8.30am and 3-7/7.30pm, Monday-Friday. You would not be required to work at the weekends.
You need to show you are eligible to work in the UK and have a clear criminal record check. Driver preferred and no smokers please.
We would pay £120 a week with 4 weeks paid holiday a year taken at pre-agreed times. We would also provide zone 1-3 travelcard and mobile phone contract. You would have your own double bedroom with WiFi and share a bathroom with the children, and use of separate living room with TV/NETFLIX/Amazon Prime. All home meals and utility bills paid for.
