Quint Education helps with early years and support roles in the education sector.
We are currently looking for level 3 qualified candidates in childcare to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to develop high quality services for parents-to-be and families with early year’s children.
Provide services and support to meet the individual needs of families and work towards reducing inequalities between families in greatest need and their peers, in line with the charitable mission and outcomes of the Children and Family Centre specification, incorporating:
Job Description
Managing and organising your own workload
The facilitation of a range of activities for early years’ children and their families
Work as part of the Children and Family Centre Team to provide high quality experiences for young children, their families and expectant parents
To develop, deliver and promote fully inclusive universal and universal plus level Children and Family Centre services in a range of locations
Develop, plan, implement and evaluate fully inclusive early education activities for children aged 0-4 across all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework
Work in partnership with parents to promote children’s learning at the centre and in the family home.
Increase parents’ knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and their child’s development
Encourage local families to take up their entitlement of free early years education and provide up-to-date information about childcare options
Take the lead for an area of responsibility. This may include Oral Health, Healthy Weight, Speech and Language, EYFS, SEND
Support the delivery of Health services across the Children and Family Centre and provide general health promotion and basic health advice
Signpost families to adult education provision
Help to establish and support ESOL peer networks (bi-lingual parents) for parents who do not speak English and make referrals to ESOL classes/language services
All staff members are expected to participate and support fundraising activities of the charity
You must be level 3 qualified (or above) and able to work 20 hours a week.
