Cuckoo Hall Academies Trust (C.H.A.T.) is the Charitable Trust set up to run and manage four Primary and one Secondary Academies serving approximately 3000 children. Based in Enfield we are focused on driving up the quality of education provision and standards. We are looking to recruit a full time Facilities Officer to maintain school premises, facilities and grounds.
As Facilities Officer you will be responsible for delivering high quality, customer focused site and maintenance functions. This will involve opening and securing premises, ensuring safe access, overseeing cleaning standards, checking company vehicles and carrying out repairs and decoration tasks. You will also carry out regular inspections of all the School premises to identify any health and safety issues along with the need for repairs or improvements to the buildings or grounds. You will provide security for the site and emergency cover when required too.
Key will be the ability to ensure facilities are safe for pupils and staff to use. This role will require some evening and weekend work.
A team player you will be customer focused and experienced at carrying out basic maintenance, plumbing and repair tasks. Comfortable with standard manual handling procedures you will have a good understanding of H and S and are able to follow set processes. You will also be good at prioritising and be flexible to work a shift system.
