Fabulous Barista/All rounder needed for lovely coffee shop in N4/Harringay.
Our two cherished long term staff have moved on to forward their careers, and we are looking for x2 part time or one full time member of staff to take over their roles.
But First, Coffee is a small community focused coffee shop in a residential area on the boarders of Crouch End/Stroud Green/Harringay ladder. We're different from other places - think having coffee and breakfast at your best friends kitchen table, and your getting near to how we do things here. Started in 2014, we have been fortunate enough to become extremely popular, thanks to the amazing coffee we serve, our excellent pastries and extra-mile service. The shop is very small, and as such is a one-person job, so you will be working the shift by yourself - so anyone who might be a little shy, this role might not be for you.
Applicants MUST have the following:
-Barista trained in similar artisan coffee shop
-Fluent English
-Ability to host and make our guests welcome
-Gregarious, welcoming and genuinely guest focused
-Live within a short distance from N4
-Can do attitude
-Cheerful and helpful
Preferable skills:
- Supervisor/junior management experience
- Event experience
- Cashing up
- Food preparation
