Housed in the newly remodelled former ticket office of the Grade II listed Victorian Peckham Rye train station, Coal Rooms will be a refined, stylish and atmospheric restaurant, bar and café.
Established by the founders of Old Spike Roastery and Spike and Earl, Coal Rooms will expand upon these existing concepts and offer a gutsy yet refined menu cooked over wood-fired grills in full view of our guests from a bespoke designed open kitchen. The diverse modern menu will also be influenced by the African and Persian communities of the area. Coal Rooms boasts its own bakery and prep kitchen, private dining room, butchery suite to facilitate the nose-to-tail menu, and a modern bar turning out fantastic Old Spike coffee during the day and an extensive wine and beer list and cocktails by night.
We are looking for full-time professional and experienced floor staff and bartenders to join our new opening team in July to train together and prepare for the opening the following month.
We need friendly, organised, efficient and reliable people who can confidently offer friendly attentive service to our customers. At least 2 years previous experience in a similar role and a proven knowledge and passion for food and drink is a must.
