Ottolenghi Islington is looking for an experienced waiter to join our team. We are a restaurant and deli with a focus on Mediterranean and Middle Eastern inspired dishes, and unique and delicious cakes and packed products.
As a busy and fast paced restaurant, we are looking for someone who is able to run a section efficiently with a great eye for detail and customer care. A genuine in interest in food and wine is also essential, along with a strong character and a generous spirit. It is really important that you are able to build genuine and meaningful relationships with our regular guests and create special experiences for first time visitors.
The role is full time, 5 shifts a week, totaling around 40 hours. It can involve both day and evening shifts (depending on preference) and most weekends. Pay is competitive and you will receive an equal share of the gratuity made each day.
Extracurricular perks to the job include wine and food training, test kitchen demonstrations, tastings and cookery classes. In return for your experience and enthusiasm we will provide a family-like environment in which you will be trained, nurtured and encouraged.
