Tenshi restaurant would like to hear from sushi chefs with at least three years experience in a quality Japanese restaurant and an excellent level of skill.
This is a full time job, although part time hours may be possible by negotiation.
This is not a training position, we are seeking someone who already has enough experience to work unsupervised, control the sushi section and produce very high-quality sushi of all varieties. If your experience is only in outlets like 'Yo Sushi' or Itsu this will not be a suitable role for you. Excellent fish cutting skills, a traditional approach to your work and thorough knowledge of correct storage procedures is required.
We are initially offering an hourly rate of £12 plus share of tips. This can be converted into a permanent post with annual salary once you have undertaken a short probation period.
Our staff are a mixture of Japanese and International. You must be able to speak English to intermediate level, or basic English plus Japanese.
