Slim Jim's Liquor Store is a renowned, independent late night bar situated in the heart of Angel, Islington. We are a saloon style, whiskey and rock'n'roll bar, who also offer a great range of cocktails and Beers, at affordable prices. We are all about providing fun environment, and carefree good times!
We have a terrific opportunity for an experienced Bar Supervisor to join our small enthusiastic team, and become a critical member in the ongoing development of the bar.
The right candidate will need to be fully fluent in English, have at least 2-3 years experiences, along with at least 1 years experience at supervisor level. The role is full-time permanent, 40 + hours per week.
Skills/requirements:
Customer service - a keen focus on excellent customer service, and to quickly develop strong relationships with our many regular customers.
People Management - able to supervisor a team of bartenders, ensuring the efficient running of the bar throughout set-up and service, and support the AM/GM in the management and training of the bar team. To develop strong working relationships with the entire team.
Cocktail experience - strong knowledge of classic cocktails, and the ability to support the development of new cocktails and menus
Product knowledge - A strong understanding and knowledge of a wide range of whiskies, Beers and other spirits
Other useful experience:
Health and Safety - understanding all procedures associated with them.
