We are currently looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Sous Chef to join the Salt House kitchen.
We are a small pub in an affluent area serving high end British cuisine to a 35 cover restaurant. Our menu changes constantly and we pride ourselves on sourcing the best quality produce available.
would help drive food sales by consistently delivering high quality food.
As sous chef your role will be to maintain consistency and assist in pushing the food to the next level. Reporting directly to the Head Chef , Tom Stephens who has spent the last 2 years working as a head chef for the company and the previous 5 years working as senior sous and head pastry chef in a number of Michelin star restaurants in the city.
Job Requirements:
• A real passion for great food
• experience in a high quality food orientated business
• Good spoken English and sufficient written English
• A strong work ethic, punctuality and reliability.
• Enthusiasm for working as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work changing shifts, evenings and weekends
